Let's challenge the common 'remote back end / remote database' architecture and discuss Local First development, where the application runs locally with a local DB (e.g. Electric) and only synchs when needed. This structure has many advantages - it's faster, cheaper, enables the users to work offline and can even be simpler. Let me convince you that your next application should be designed in a Local First approach, and thank me later :)
